He tried to sneak out. He got caught by his wife.
He told his wife he was going out to Rahul’s, and that he’d be late.
His wife wanted to go too, but he was insistent. He wanted to go alone.
They fought (not much, but a fight is a fight).
He stalked out in a huff.
She tried to study. She couldn’t.
She tried to work. She couldn’t.
She felt lonely. She decided to take a walk.
She noticed couples holding hands.
She saw Valentine’s Day advertisments pasted everywhere.
Valentine’s Day was tomorrow.
She saw an Archies Gallery. She couldn’t help it. She walked in.
She wanted to buy her husband something (so what if he fights sometimes)
And she walked straight into him.

… so goes the poem by Mary Howitt.
Another day, a car stopped. The guy at the wheel looked at the girl standing outside and asked:
Want to come in?
The guy did not know the girl. The girl did not know him.
What do you suppose the girl ought to do?
they cursed him yesterday.
they cursed him today.
they would curse him tomorrow.
they came early in the morning yesterday, when no one was around; to make out.
And they came early in the morning today, when no one was around; to make out.
And everyday he would come too. Just after them.
As if he knew what naughty things they had planned.
But of course he did not. He was too dumb for that!
But they cursed him yesterday; they cursed him today; and they would curse him tomorrow.
Little did they know that They had hidden surveillance cameras for this sort of thing.
And They cursed him. Because They knew what they were upto.
But They could never catch them in the act.
Because they never could do what they wanted to do.
All because of him.
they cursed him yesterday; They cursed him yesterday.
they cursed him today; They cursed him today.
they would curse him tomorrow; They would curse him tomorrow!

Two anonymous people fought on their blogs, both disagreeing with each other.
He was pro-abortion. She wasn’t.

In the same house.
Him on his laptop. Her on her desktop.
